Effective 1st April 2014  This specification outlines the criteria for ENERGY STAR qualified fridge/freezers. A product must meet all of the identified programme requirements if it is to be registered with the New Zealand ENERGY STAR programme and carry the ENERGY STAR mark.

NOTE:  All GRAM refrigeration units must be powered by either mains power or a pure sinewave inverter.
The use of a modified sinewave or squarewave inverter will void any warranty claim and may result in damage to the unit.
